Each question carries 4 options with only one correct answer, marked on an OMR sheet with a black ball-point pen. The marking scheme awards 3 marks for each correct answer and deducts 1 mark for each wrong or multiple answer. The question paper is bilingual, in Hindi and English. If the exam is held in multiple shifts, a normalisation process is applied so that only normalised scores are used for selection. In case of equal merit, preference is given first to the higher graduation percentage, then to the higher training qualification percentage, and finally to the older candidate.

Salary

Both posts are placed in Pay Level 6, with a pay scale of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400, plus allowances as per government rules.
