📊 Scoring

Every time two tiles merge, the merged value is added to your score. The higher the tiles you merge, the more points you earn:

  • Merging two 2 tiles → +4 points
  • Merging two 64 tiles → +128 points
  • Merging two 512 tiles → +1024 points
  • Merging two 1024 tiles → +2048 points 🏆

Your score is displayed live. In Single Player mode your score is saved to the Leaderboard when the game ends.

⚡ Power-ups

Power-ups are awarded automatically as you play. They appear as buttons above your board. Tap one to activate it instantly!

❄ī¸

Freeze

Freezes a random tile on your opponent's board for 4 seconds. That tile cannot merge while frozen. Multiplayer only.

↊ī¸

Undo

Rolls back your last move. Up to 3 moves are stored in history. Great for recovering from a mistake!

🔀

Shuffle

Randomly rearranges all tiles on your board. Useful when you're completely stuck with no good moves.

đŸ’Ŗ

Bomb

Removes the lowest-value tile from your board, freeing up a space. Perfect when the board is almost full.

Power-up drop rate: Easy = every 18s  |  Normal = every 25s  |  Hard = every 35s

⏱ Timer Mode

Choose a time limit before starting your game:

  • Off — unlimited play, game ends only when the board is full
  • 2 Minutes — fast and intense, great for quick sessions
  • 3 Minutes — balanced challenge
  • 5 Minutes — relaxed pace with more time to think

When the timer hits 10 seconds it flashes red. When it reaches zero, the player with the highest score wins. In Single Player mode, your final score is recorded to the leaderboard.

🏆 Winning & Losing

You win when: You create a tile with the value 2048. In Multiplayer, you win by reaching 2048 first. In Timer mode, you win by having the highest score when time runs out.

Game over when: The board is completely full and no adjacent tiles can be merged. A "Game Over" overlay appears. You can start a new game with the 🔄 New button.

After 2048: The game continues even after reaching 2048! Keep merging to chase higher tiles like 4096, 8192 and beyond.

💡 Pro Tips

Corner Strategy: Always keep your highest-value tile locked in one corner. Build up tiles around it in descending order like a snake.
Pick One Direction: Focus on swiping in just 2–3 directions (e.g. only left, down and right). Avoid swiping up unless absolutely necessary.
Don't Swipe Randomly: Every move counts. Think one or two moves ahead before swiping. A hasty move can break your entire setup.
Save Undo for Emergencies: The ↊ī¸ Undo power-up is most valuable when you accidentally break your corner strategy. Don't waste it early.
Use Bomb Wisely: Save the đŸ’Ŗ Bomb for when the board is nearly full. Removing the lowest tile at the right moment can open up a chain of merges.
Multiplayer: Freeze at Key Moments: Use ❄ī¸ Freeze on your opponent when they are about to make a big merge — timing is everything!
