UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2026 – Download PDF & Raise Objections

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2026. According to the published information, the provisional answer key was published on 2 November 2026 for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) held on 25 October, 30 October and 1 November 2026.

Candidates who appeared in the examination can now download the shift-wise answer key and their response sheet from the official UPSSSC website, compare their answers, and raise objections online if they find any discrepancy. Because the key is provisional, it may change after objections are reviewed, and the final answer key and result will follow later.

UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2026 – Overview

Important Dates

How to Download the Answer Key

1. Visit the official UPSSSC website at upsssc.gov.in.
2. Open the Notice Board section and find the PET 2026 answer key notice.
3. Choose your exam date, shift and booklet set, and log in with your registration number and date of birth if asked.
4. Download the shift-wise answer key PDF and your response sheet.
5. Match only the question IDs of your own set, and save a copy for reference.

Objection Process

Candidates who disagree with any answer in the provisional key can raise an objection online through the official portal. According to the published information, most reports put the objection deadline at 8 November 2026, though at least one report mentions 11 November 2026, and reports also differ on the objection fee. Candidates should therefore confirm the exact last date and fee from the official UPSSSC notice before paying or submitting anything, and should not rely on any unofficial link. To raise an objection, log in on the official portal, select the question ID, state the correct answer with a brief justification, upload supporting proof if asked, pay the prescribed fee if applicable, and submit before the deadline.

Marking Scheme and Normalisation

Each question carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer, while unattempted questions carry no deduction. Because the PET ran across several shifts, scores will be normalised for differences in difficulty before the final result. Candidates who appeared for the PET can also read our UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2026 update and the UPSSSC PET Syllabus 2026 article for background on the examination.

What Next

After the objection window closes, UPSSSC will review the objections and publish the final answer key, followed by the PET result and normalised scorecards. The PET score is used as an eligibility gateway for future UPSSSC Group C recruitments, so candidates should keep their registration details and scorecard safe.
