TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria 2026
Educational Qualification
- For a large number of posts — including Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Revenue Assistant and several other Group IV posts — the minimum general educational qualification is an SSLC / 10th Standard pass or equivalent.
- Typist and Steno-Typist posts additionally require the prescribed typewriting and/or shorthand qualification.
- Certain Junior Assistant, Executive Officer, Junior Inspector and other specialised posts require a degree, a specific subject qualification, a diploma, a computer qualification or another technical certificate.

- Single-stage OMR-based written examination. One paper of 200 questions for 300 marks, held on 10 January 2027.
